I know he had his missteps with Rihanna but you simply cannot deny his fancy footwork in this video in JUMPs.  It’s like Taboo said, JUMPs are almost made for dancing.  The toe character, the strength of the rubber outsole and the sexiness perfectly lends itself to dancing.  And if this song is any indication, it certainly seems like Chris is remorseful for what happened.  Either way, the shoes look fly.

Akira Fashion Show

While out here in Chicago, we’ve had the pleasure of visiting most of Akira’s nine stores.  The owners, Erikka and Jon were quite hospitable.  It’s really quite spectacular as they essentially run Chicago’ fashion scene through a slew of events hosted by some very well known celebrities.  Check out some images from their last fashion show sponsored by JUMP.

Lights Resolve

I had the chance to meet these dudes yesterday.  They’re with a very up and coming band called Lights Resolve and they’re all over the place.  I’m going to see them on Thursday at the Bowery Ballroom.  Very cool guys originally from Long Island.

I’ve recently been getting quite a few requests from Jay, my buyer at Kitson’s for some special orders.  As it turns out Amar’e Stoudemire really liked the Volume in Copper and Graphite and needed 14s but we only made up to size 13.  I got a hold of my team in China to see how quickly we could turn it around and within a matter of days I had it.  In fact, my homies in China are such big fans of his they made a pair of the Vanquish Green Purple Reflex customized just for him.  Check it out.

A few days later, Shawn Marion wanted a pair too and we decided we’ll start making sizes 14-18.  It is pretty dope to be getting all this love.

Shinedown is an LA based band who’ve sold more than 6 million albums with many #1 hits including, this song, Second Chance.  Zach Myers, the guitarist on the right side of the stage has got on the Volume in White Patent.

If you’re not already aware, JSD has hit stores which means I will be hitting them too.  On December 6th between 2-4 PM, Sung Kang and I will be at Bloomingdale’s in Beverly Center to celebrate the launch of JSD there.  Here’s the invite.
